An interesting combination in a round shape: hamp & latex. The Vita-line round mattress Futon "Model 16" is made of
hemp layers that meet in the centre of a latex core. Thus, this futon mattress is also rather elastic and less firm.
Due of the pure hamp composition, the round "Model 16" has a certain bulkiness and initially, relatively
soft surface. In some time it becomes more firm. The 4 cm high latex core provides a long-lasting elasticity
and also in case of high stress, ensures a high degree of dimensional stability.
Sleep comfort:
The Vita-line round mattress Futon "Model 16" combines a comfortable lying comfort with a balanced
thermal behavior. Hemp is a natural fibre that has antimicrobial effect and blocks the growth of bacteria
and fungi. Moreover, the hemp ensures adequate temperature compensation, keeps warm in winter and ensures
nice cooling effect in summer. Next to its elasticity, latex is also highly breathable. Moreover, this
hygienic, dust-free material provides no breeding ground for bacteria and is heath-insulating. Initially,
the round futon mattress "Model 16" is 13 - 14 cm high. During the lying phase the hemp layers can loose up to 35 %
(load-dependency) as compared to the initial height, they become firmer and therefore, are more compact. The cover
of this round mattress is 100 % cotton.

In case of the Care you should keep in mind that a new futon mattress should be turned and rotated all 14 days
